Privacy policy
This policy explains how Emov Studio, the company behind Stampi, collects and handles information from people who use the Stampi app and this website. It does not constitute legal advice; for guidance tailored to your situation, consult a qualified attorney.
Who we are and scope
Stampi is a digital loyalty stamp-card application operated by Emov Studio. This policy covers the Stampi app — both the customer app for collecting stamps and the portal for businesses and their staff — and this informational website. By using Stampi you accept the practices described here.
Information we collect
To create your account and run the service we collect your name, email address, and phone number, and optionally your date of birth. Sign-in happens through Google, Apple, or email and password; from whichever provider you choose we receive your verified email. We also record your loyalty activity: stamps received, rewards redeemed, the date and time, the shop where it happened, and the staff member who served you. If you are a business owner, we also store your shop details: name, address, logo, and your card configuration.
How we use your information
We use your information to run your loyalty cards, record stamps and redemptions, show the business its metrics dashboard, prevent fraud, provide support, and comply with applicable law. If you message us by WhatsApp or email from this site, we use that data only to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal. We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.
How we keep stamps and redemptions secure
Security is built into Stampi. The NFC tag on the counter stores only an opaque identifier: it holds no name, no stamps, and no personal data. The codes you show to add a stamp or redeem a reward change every few seconds, so a screenshot won't work, and every reward is confirmed by the business's staff.
Service providers and third parties
We rely on trusted providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication), Google and Apple (sign-in), Google Places (autocomplete for the business address), and Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, and cookieless web analytics). These providers only access the information needed to deliver their service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as the law requires. When you ask to delete your account, we anonymize your personal data (name, email, phone, and date of birth); the history of stamps and redemptions is kept in anonymized form for the business's analytics, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.
Your rights
You may access your data, correct it, request a copy, or ask for its deletion in accordance with Nicaragua's Law 787 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable law. To exercise any of these rights, write to the email listed in the contact section and we will handle your request.
Children
Stampi is intended for adults and for the customers of the businesses that use it. It is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Website analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service that installs no cookies, does not track people individually, and does not share data with third parties for advertising. It only gathers anonymous, aggregate usage statistics.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Stampi evolves; we will publish the current version on this page with its update date. If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, write to hola@emovstudio.com.
